The ointment of the article is to show while auschwitz may have been the most famous concentration camp that held people who didn’t fit the nazi’s views of perfection it is not the only one. This also furthers enforce the idea how terrible those places actually were since the ones that weren’t as known may have been worse than the one mentioned previously actually was.

Also not to mention the fact that most people only know about auschwitz due to it size, and th encumber of recorded corpses on the extinguish room. This kind of makes this article important so that more people know about the other places that time has seemingly forgotten.

The main point in the later part of this article is to show the progress of the camps that were made in the 1930s in order to “control” the population of the German population, but in actuality it was meant to be a place that persecuted people that the Nazi party feel like they didn’t “fit” with there standards. It also showed how quickly they were built once Hitler came into power with many camps being made in not only Germany, but its neighboring countries who were controlled by the Nazi party like Belgium, or Poland. Lastly the article showed the shocking number of deaths that happened between the many years of the camps usage, and the large number of the Jewis population being killed by burning, or shot if the camp was too small to have an incinerator big enough for the prisoners.

It is a headline about Nazi death camps that had originated in Auschwtiz. The image here shows where and how the growth of these concentration camps had been planted 70 years ago. The headline continues to go on about the famous hide and seeker, Anne Frank that had hid in Dachau camp, which was one of the very first camps. In addition, the contrast of the dark colors portrays the amount of death and sadness that had and still lives in those places.

The article first starts off by stating the amount of concentration camps there were, which was 850. Although, there were three branches of the concentration camps. As there were forced labor camps, the camps where they would hold them, and then the extermination camps. By the end of World War II Hitler had basically camps all around Europe. But not all where for extermination as there were 20 that were the mains ones and within those 20, 4 of the camps had the most extermination’s. All in all, about 6 millions Jews and “undesirables” (another name they would call certain minority groups) had been killed and burned.

In this text it furthers elaborates the number of deaths and where and which concentration camp it took place in. They state that the concentration camps stretched over Europe killing hundreds of thousands to Jewish people. 4 main camps were the ones that did the most damage threw out the war. Many documents where retired but the Nazis where good reconord keepers on account of trying to keep information and burn any other. Giving the assumption that many more people have died than the original number.

The news report is on concentration camps that were used during world war 2 to force labor and to kill off people of a certain religious viewpoint, and a certain background. The reason this was written is because it was the 70th anniversary of the liberation of aushwitz. The person who wrote this and made the interactive map wanted to honor the people who suffered at these camps by spreading information and knowledge about what happened so many years ago

While Aldof Hitler was in power, people were in forced labor here including Anne Frank. A mix of concentration, extermination and forced labor camps were built as the main four sections. Many of them were Jews, and experiemented on for diseases. Many of them were spread afterwards. Although the Nazi’s were good record keepers, they managed to destroy everything before they were recovered by the allies.

In this article, the author states about how many people were killed in Nazi’s Death camps and used statistic and exact name of the camps in order to build credibility. For example, the author states that there were main death camps like Belzec, Chelmno, Sobibor and Treblinks, and almost all people who past the gate, died. In those main death camps, over 110,000 people died on each camps, but it is impossible to know how many people were locked on those prisons. In addition, it is hard to get data about the exact amount of victims who died in death camps, because Germany did a great job on erasing records of the camps

The text is about the 70th anniversary liberation of Auschwitz and some facts about (mainly the sheer size) about it. Towards the end of the text, it questions us if we would like to see an interactive map of the growth of the concentration camp system and the scale of the slaughter. The main idea of this text is to show the scale of slaughter in remberance to the fallen and highlight its horror.

Hitler had an image of a “perfect race”, and took matters into his own hands. There were many camps established that it stretched out across the country. By the end of World War II in 1945, The Nazis had forced-labor camps where thousands of prisoners died from exhaustion, starvation, and exposure. SS units guarded the camps. During World War II, the Nazi camp system expanded rapidly. Besides forced-labor camps, other camps were built such as concentration camps, transit camps, prisoner-of-war camps, and killing centers. In some camps, Nazi doctors performed medical experiments on prisoners. The majority of these prisoners in the early concentration camps were political prisoners, German Communists, Socialists, and Social Democrats.
